Katherine, quote: http://www.scriptsurgery.com/about.htm
Suggestions and changes are no doubt coming along faster than my typing, but here goes. I usually like to do a screen shot and "play" before I make suggestions but I don't have time now. So here's what I'd be playing with until something clicked. 1) Behind the large amount of text, I'd try an ever so slightly lighter shade of gray, not too far from what it already is now. I'd probably try this too: **** 2) Between "Peter Soutter is not a writer! " AND "Since 1995 he has worked as a script consultant and story analyst" I'd place a hairline sized (maybe a half point) red line, horizontally and midway between the two lines of text. The line would extend no longer than the ! which follows the word "writer." **** Suggestion #1 would reduce the dull gray look but would be keeping in line with your client's request for a monochromatic scheme. Suggestion #2, or something like it, would bring a touch of color into a pretty large, gray area. I think I'd also add a shift-return before "Peter Soutter is not a writer! " for a bit more "white (gray) space." gail Edited by - _gail on 05/13/2002 15:47:21
