I am trying to publish it thought and it doesn't seem to be working. I did publish some of it last week and it worked just fine. Now, I click publish and it appears to be doing it and it says at the end its complete. When I go to my site on geocities the links on the first page are not there so you can't even look at any other pages to see if any of it published. Any ideas on why it would say it published but it doesn't seem to have done that? thanks Christy

The first time, i had no idea there was a delay when you publish and when you see the changes - - i thought it was instant. For example, with yahoo there was a 20 min delay for when it said published and went to the brower and saw my changes. I also published with geocities and had trouble publishing with front page extensions so I connected via the FTP server. I think this is their other method. liza (in reply to tylersmommy)

You can get pretty decent hosting for 5 - 7$ a month and save yourself a lot of time and frustration. Christy, it sounds like you may have to "dumb down" your links to see them. In other words, use a basic text or graphic link. Avoid themes, shared borders, nav bars, yikes! Liza, you should see the changes within a couple of minutes or faster. Please note that FTP can damage the FrontPage extensions and then other things may not work. I bet if you looked around these forums you could get a good web host...
