web page dummy - 9/26/2001 15:25:00
I have a page on our site that lists our products, I would like for the user to click on the product to pull up our specification sheet which is a word doc, how do I go about this? I know it will be an easy answer for all of you. Thanks!!

If you aren't looking to have that Word doc look like the rest of your site (colors, navigation, images, etc) I would still recommend saving that document as an .htm file and uploading that. You could either add a "Back" link to the originating page, or have it open in a new window. I'd recommend the former.I suggest this since not everybody is going to have MS Word on their machine, nor will they be using IE (which would be the easiest interface for reading a Word doc off the web). Although Word writes horrid html, this should work just fine for you, provided the document doesn't have a ton of formatting such as images, tables, etc. ------------------ <--Your information went data way -->
