Names of pages not being changed. - 5/26/2002 15:17:45
When I add a page to my web in the navigation section, I go to change it's name acording to what I'd like that page to be called.
The changes show up in the page view, but in the folder view, they are still called "new_page_1.htm" and so on. The way I change it is :
I click on the page icon in nav view, then hit rename. I change it's name, then hit apply changes.
Is that the proper way to change it ?
And if I upload the site, when a visitor scrolls over a link, or uses it, what will they see in their address bar when surfing there ? The "new_page_#.htm" or what I called the page.

You are changing the HTML document name - to change the "title" go into the HTML and change the text between the <title> & </title> tags.
