PDF file update question - 4/11/2001 17:11:00
When I attempt to replace a PDF file in Frontpage 2000 with another updated PDF file that has the same name, then Frontpage doesn't seem to recognize that it is a newer file and the creation date remains the same as the old file and will not publish. My work around was to delete the PDF files, publish, add the newer files back and publish again. That worked but is there a better way?

If your not using Frontpage extensions to run forms or anything else you'd be better served becoming familiar with transferring files with a FTP program. (like WSFTP). It will allow you to transfer the files you choose and much more.

You can still use it with Frontpage extensions enabled on your server but Ive heard tales of damaging the extensions if you do.

Thank you for responding. I do use extensions and have read the horror stories about FTP'ing files and mucking up the extensions.
