What's the best way to make a Word file available? - 5/29/2002 10:15:58
Does anyone know the best way to have a word document on FP. I have an application form which I want visitors to be able to print off and complete. I have tried a few ways, but formatting changes. Having an on-line form is definately not an option as I need them to physically sign a declaration on the form for legal reasons to complicated and boring to explain. Thanks guys Fatboy Slim

Hi, I would go with an Adboe Acrobat PDF file as the primary choice as it is the most universal. On Word files you will get different results depending on if they have MS Word installed and even what version it is VS. wht version the document was made with. To make it the most universal I would make it a download (compress it by using winzip or pkzip) and then while connected to your web in FP click on file, import. Browse out to the file and then click on OK. Next time you publish to your host the document will go out in that publish. Brian Work hard, play fair, stay sane
