Nikki_in_SD -> Website Looks Different (6/2/2002 22:05:29)

I recently posted a question regarding the column widths on my website...each page looked different and I wanted them to be consistent so I would have a more professional look. I spent many hours doing this and thought my website was finally finished. A few people have told me that the website is all cut up and looks funny....they are using the same browser as I am and I can't figure out what is wrong...any ideas? Thanks so much!

Well, I am still seeing different sized tables in different pages. Make them all the same. Put images in cells and text in cells so they do not all run together. Use either 100% or 591 as a table size for consistency. I would use 100% if it were me. then when you divide up the cells, use percentages in all of the cells so all content will fit and flow nicely. Need help, just let us know.

One more question, why would the site look perfect on my screen and totally different on another using the same browser?

Could it be the resolution setting is different between the 2 systems. Make sure you check for that first.
