ADO Connections and Permissions - 6/5/2002 3:54:34
I'm very adept with ADO connections and ODBC sources.

But if my database in is the fpdb folder then I can't do what I like to it

If it is not then I can only do select statements,

I knows it's something to do with the Permissions

But in a Non-Frontpage environment, what do people do, apart from odbc. Do I have to set file permissions or something.

I suppose if I use the ODBC stuff the connection will always be in the same place

Does anyone know of any documentation or reading materials on this?

Many thanks
