where is my cgi-bin - 6/5/2002 14:14:41
I am trying to install a cgi form handler and the installation manual says to put the files in the cgi-bin. I don't seem to have any file called cgi-bin so what should i do Chris Phillips

Nope. couldn't find it. My server is windows 2000, does this server usually accept cgi scripts.

Hi, Cut through it all and give the host a call. If they do offer it they will need to setup the permissions unless they give you a control panel option. Brian Work hard, play fair, stay sane

Is it your server? If so, did you create a CGI-BIN? CGI is Common Gateway Interface and can be Perl, PHP, VB, C++, etc., the server will accept and parse whatever it's been configured to. Gil Harvey The Host Factory Resellers are our Specialty Find a Web Professional
