word doc. to .pdf? - 10/2/2001 14:11:00
I would like to take a Word document and make it a .pdf format for our site. Could someone please give me specific details on how to do this? (I'm computer illiterate)Thanks in advance for any help!

You will need to purchase Adobe Acrobat software. Trust me, this is one purchase that is worth the price. Once you install it, you will have a "Create pdf file" option in the MS Word File menu. I use a little program called pdfFactory. Its only 'bout $50 and have not found any file types it does not work with. You can get a beta / trial version at:http://www.fineprint.com I also have the full Adobe Acrobat, yet when I'm just simply printing to a .pdf, I almost always use pdfFactory......
