How to have logo centered on page background - 4/12/2001 20:22:00
I want to center a single copy of the company logo as the page background. How do I set it up centered with only one copy of the logo? Right now the logo tiles over the entire page.

have you tried using absolute positioning on a graphic instead of using the logo as a background?

Or create the background image at page size with the logo at the center. Use background properties="fixed" to keep the background from tiling down if your page is longer than screen height.

Or create each page at 640 x 480 or 800 x 600 to keep the background stable.

(someone please help with the specific code for fixed background... my mind is drawing a blank. Too much caffine...)

<body bgproperties="fixed">, but why not just click the button that says watermark in page properties menu (around the same place you put in the background image).

Fixed backgrounds normally will still tile in NN.

Using a table with the image for the background will probably be your best bet. Add a border around the image to fill the rest of the space in the table background. This works best using a gif (depending on the image you're using of course) and taking it down to the smallest amount of colors possible while preserving the image.

And NS6. A moot point anyway as according to the stats on my 8 websites IE has about 99% of the market.
