PSE - can it mask? - 6/13/2002 15:24:14
I downloaded a trial of Photoshop Elements some time ago and don't recall if it has any masking features. Does it? Thanks, gail

Hello gail,

Check these out...

http://www.adobe.com/products/photoshopel/indepth.html

I looked through them and the closest thing to masking I could see was the background eraser.... of course that doesn't mean it's not there....

Have Fun,

Scott

I looked too.

I don't recall it being there when I tried the Elements trial; thought someone else who uses it might know. The eraser has it's place but not when you need true masking capabilities. Unless the "Background Eraser" functions differently than the plain old vanilla one.

Anyone know if the Bkgrd Eraser can function as a masking tool?

Thanks, gail
