WEB ON CD - 6/15/2002 3:55:55
This is my experience, I use the free autorun from here http://www.phdcc.com/ and then burn the whose thing as data, allowing for long file names. Then most can read it. External links I have marked with a small gif globe, so you know that if you click here you will " connect to internet" I have added video as MPEG-4, but any compression supported by common mediaplayers will do. Then to activate the video I use a hyperlink. Click on it and your default mediaplayer will pop up and start playing. I use meadiaplayer 6.4. The computer is a pentium II, but I keep the video to 320x288. I tried with VCD, but it is more complicated, and it is not possible to get a web on a V(ideo)CD. To cut the sound track I found http://www.multitrackstudio.com/ a free version that can handle 3 tracks. Well maybee I overlooked a few things. By the way, much to my surprise I have seen that you now can get sound cards with firewire for "grabbibg" DV video. So this is how to make a full blown CD web with Video. Additional tips are welcome Best regards Torben W Andersen
