Where did all my nav view go?? - 6/16/2002 6:15:48
I hope this is the right form.

I'm (a beginner) using FP2000 and had some server problems but they seem to be fixed at this point. I had to rename my homepage from default.htm to index.html.

Now when I look at the nav view of my web in FP all the "little boxes" are gone and there is only my "homepage".

I use the nav view alot and would like to have it back. Hyperlink view seems to be fine and the web seems to work fine, just no nav view.

Please help
thanks

This is what blew up the nav view. To add a "box" to nav view you drag it from the file list to the appropriate level that you want on the nav pane. So, if a page should show up under "Home" in a navigation bar, for example, you would drag it and place it under "Home"in the navigation window. This is how the navigation links are defined when you use themes

Always glad to be of service.

Thanks - not exactly what I wanted to hear. I did know how to get a "new" nav view but I thought there might be a way to get the old one back.

Thanks anyway

Because these kinds of things happen, when I change the navigation, I print the Navigation View on large sites. What a relief when you must redo!
