petak -> x extensions (6/18/2002 6:08:44)

Had my site checked out by Weblint Gateway and they came up with two problems, one was a silly mistake of mine, soon fixed, but the other is TECHNICAL
Attribute for STYLE and or TABLE is extended markup [use "-x ,extension> to allow this]
No idea, and none of my books mention this.

Hi,

Can you post a URL to the page that they made this coment on?

Thanks,

Brian

Thanks here is the URL
http://itbasiks.tripod.com
The site will be hosted elsewhere soon, but am still fine tuning.
I know that the top HTML faults are from the Tripod Banner, but the ones I do not understand are on line ,75,82,110,197,232, bear with me until after 2100hrs Aust Time as I have to upload the code corrections I understood.
Thanks

Hard to tell, I can't make a lot of sense out of the code at all. I think you may have the record for the most non-breaking spaces I've ever seen though

I did notice one of the arrows is on top of some text - impossible to read it.

I'll try to look again later, when I have time to use Ultra Edit on it.

It's saying that your using a formatting attribute that is designed for Netscape but not up to current HTML standards. You can find out more with this link. Scroll down to the section labled Netscapisms

Hope this helps,

That is one of the most fascinating things I've read on web design in a long time.

Something tells me it's time to start digging deep into XML.

Thanks for the comments, puzzled about the Netscapizm, as the site was build soley in FP, so why should the HTML be that way inclined?
The spaces are just empty lines in the table layout, so I assumed that is what FP did. Any help happily looked at.
