AlS -> Same problem as yesterday with FP server components....... (4/12/2001 23:54:00)

I have 12 forms on my website (www.bassboatcentral.com) and a few counters, (including the home page). The counters reset to "0" and the forms pages display "Front Page Error" when you submit. (Instead of showing a confirmation page). My webhost twice yesterday "recalculated the hyperlinks" and said that there's no problem with the FP server extensions and the problem is definitely between my software and the server extensions. I've recalculated the hyperlinks again this morning but when I published new material about 10 minutes ago, the counters reset to 0 and the forms have the same problem (although the information does come to me from the forms). I'm totally lost on this; any help would be greatly appreciated...Thanks.

I was getting this same error on one of our Intranet sites and it "is" a problem with the server extensions. Recalculating the extensions fixed the problem in my case.

See if you can get your host to reinstall the extensions for you. I think they need to uninstall them before they do.

Hope this helps.

Hi Swirl:
I got your "test" form info. My webhost just had me do a procedure for recalculating the hyperlinks and it made no difference at all.
I'll ask them if they will reinstall the extensions as you suggest. This is very frustrating when you can't find the fix yourself. Thanks for your help on this. Al.

Thanks Swirl:
I had the webhost uninstall/reinstall the server extensions and after a few "glitches" everything seems to be working perfectly once again. Thanks very much..... Al
