Update Query : RunTime Error - 6/19/2002 13:30:48
OK Guys and gals answer me this: I have a form, I submit some information to a new page. This page includes a DRW with a custom update query: Whenever the page loads I get a runtim error wchich says: "top.list.location is null or not an object" Clicking Debug results in the following: <script Language="JavaScript"> <!-- top.list.location.href = top.list.location.href; // --> Now I presume this may be some form of return page, but I cant see a setting anywhere for it. btw: The update goes ahead and works fine. Ideas on a postcard to the usual address, oh and please go easy on me if I'm stupid. btw: This all seemed to happen after I renamed a directory in my web.. maybe coincidence?? maybe not. Cheers (again) Neil

DRW's don't use JavaScript so my guess is that there is some other code running on your page. Go into HTML view and look for this JavaScript and figure out what it's supposed to be doing. FrontPageHowTo.com FrontPage Database Examples www.frontpagehowto.com

Sorted this one: If anyone else sees this problem, its down to using a database interface wizard within a frames page.. The MicroSoft scripts just spit their dummy on the return page. I just spawned the link on a new page.. I' ll look at it in more detail later. Neil
