FP 2k2 can't find Server Extensions - 6/19/2002 14:53:09
I'm having a problem...
I'm using FP2002 on a Win2k machine. The server the website I'm trying to edit is on a Win2k server/IIS 5.0, with either FP2000 or FP2002 extensions (can't remember if the NA upgraded).
When I try to open the web, it says:
"The web server at "http://servername" does not appear to have FrontPage server extensions installed."
However, if i specifically put in a page ("http://servername/index.htm), it opens, I can edit and save. But the web doesn't open...other webs open just fine.
What can be done so I can get the web back? Any and all suggestions are appreciated.

I'd start by having your administrator open up the IIS MMC (in the case of FP2000 extensions) and running the check server extensions option on this particular site. Same for FP2002 extensions in the web based UI.
