when publishing says Svr Ext not installed - 6/21/2002 16:52:00
When I try to publish a web from my local workstation to the web server using HTTP I get this message: "The server you are publishing to does not have the FrontPage Server Extensions installed, and therefore does not support publishing via HTTP. To continue publishing, specify a location that will work with FTP."
The server extensions are installed and I have even uninstalled and reinstalled to be sure. (I know I can use FTP but I want to use HTTP and also would like to understand why I am getting this error). Any ideas would be appreciated!

Either the extensions are corrupt, not installed (I know you said they were, but...) or you are entering the correct URL. Are you entering http://www.domain.com/ <- the complete URL?
