This should be okay, you will of course be asked for a user:password....shouldn't hurt anything to try quote: and..if you can't edit with FP, is it a given you can't publish pages to the directory with FP?
I can do this but it is not without multiple password dialogs which seem to have no ryhthm or reason... As far as the Spooky login, your password list is already pretty big and maintenance is going to be a headache without some form of management. Remember, it is good password policy to change them regularly, and always after an employee leaves. People forget passwords, people forget about caps lock, people give out the passwords, isn't the Spooky log-in fairly inexpensive. You've got the right server.... Always glad to be of service.
