A Principal' s Paddle - dont want a paddling - 7/17/2002 8:30:22
Hi guys and gals - this site went live about 10 minutes ago - I would like feed back about it, and PLEASE check it for spelling....all I need is all the principals in Tennessee telling me that I spelled something wrong...LOL. Also please feel free to check the source and see if you think it is search engine friendly. There is some more content to come, but wanted to get most of it live and submitted have a conference coming up in November.

Thanks in Advance -

MD,

The site responded well in NN6.2 & 4.76, Opera 6 and IE 6.

I liked the organization and presentation. As for spell check, FrontPage has a very good spell check feature.

I usually do all of my text entry into Word for spelling and grammar checking. Then copy and paste to Notepad to remove all of Word' s style and formatting attributes, and then again copy from Notepad and paste into FrontPage.

Let us know when you are ready for a final review.

Nice design, like the menu. On the negative side, I don´t think centered text looks good, it is not the natural way to read. I would left-align and justify it. Also the text on other pages is a different size to that on the index page. I think the smaller text should be used on all pages for consistency.

Thanks Charles and piquet -

I hadn' t noticed the text size changed, Thanks for the catch. I did as you reccomended and moved to to left-justified....see if you think that looks better....and made sure that the text is veranda, I really like that font. Thanks for looking at the spelling, Front page said all was right, sew I figured all was well....LOL
Thanks again....

Gil how was your load times>?

good site. Like the look.

everything was crisp and easy on the eyes.

My only suggestion would be to add a little more space between the left navigation and the content in the main part of the page. Maybe set the table padding to 5 or so.

Just my opinion though. Good job. And you don' t want to ask me about spelling!

Jim

Stealth,

Good design. Since I kept bugging Spooky about the spell checker - I do not check spelling.:)

In the body of the page I agree with jrnow. You do need a little bit more spacing where the body of the text is.

I like the little pictures next to the navigation.

Text and images realigned, font should all be the same. Anyone know the download time? Good/bad?

Thanks
