How do I stop unwanted gaps at the bottom of cells - 7/19/2002 13:09:54
Does anyone know how to stop gaps appearing at the bottom of a cell? It appears for some reason when looking at my page through Internet Explorer, even though it' s not there according to FrontPage. The strange thing is it doesn' t always happen, I can' t work it out.

When you say " gaps" do you mean just empty space?

It could be that there is something in a neighboring cel in the same row that is taller, causing the other cels to expand to that height...

Or you could have an unspecified height, or a percentage specified.

In the latter case, if your table is set to 100% height, a browser will expand all the cels vertically to fit the window.

Do you have a URL or page code that you can post?

This question might be better answered in the Beginners or Int / advanced forums...

Hello and Welcome to the Forums,

Is it possible for you to post the URL of the page in question so members here can take a closer look at it and pinpoint the problem?

Also, just for future reference, you may want to post such questions in the other forums such as " Beginners" or " Intermediate/Advanced"

This forum is not for asking questions. It' s for posting things you have learned and wish to share with the rest of us. This question would normally go in Beginners or Intermediate/Advanced, but I think the url below will take you to some info that will help you solve your problem.
