<style type=text/css>form{display:inline;}</style>

Ever wonder how to get rid of that darn spacing after your </form> tags? Look above!

Insert the above code into the <head></head> section of your document.

Or, you can insert this code into your external style sheet (.css)...

form{display:inline;}

Right on!

Can I do the same with <h1> and <hr> tags?

Yes. The display:inline applies to Block Level Elements and <h1> and <hr> fall in that category.

The following are defined as block level elements in HTML 4.0:

ADDRESS - Address
BLOCKQUOTE - Block quotation
CENTER - Centered block
DIR - Directory list
DIV - Generic block-level container
DL - Definition list
FIELDSET - Form control group
FORM - Interactive form
H1 - Level-one heading
H2 - Level-two heading
H3 - Level-three heading
H4 - Level-four heading
H5 - Level-five heading
H6 - Level-six heading
HR - Horizontal rule
ISINDEX - Input prompt
MENU - Menu list
NOFRAMES - Frames alternate content
NOSCRIPT - Alternate script content
OL - Ordered list
P - Paragraph
PRE - Preformatted text
TABLE - Table
UL - Unordered list

I hate to sound ignorant, but could you elaborate on the form spacing issues and what that means exactly. [:j]

When you place a form on your page it will have a blank space following it, kind of like you added a <br> tag or two... this is just a method to reduce the amount of " blank" space following forms.

An example would be placing a one textbox form in a table cell

For those of you looking for the Complex Form Email thread mentioned in OutFront News this week, I accidentally used the link to this thread instead.

Here is the correct link.
