ASP and subwebs... - 2/27/2001 20:51:00
Does anyone know if it's possible to have database results in a subweb pointing to an access (.mdb) database connection in the root web (fpdb). Or do you have to make a new fpdb catalog in the subweb?

It can be done, but you will need to add the same connection from the root global.asa file to the sub global.asa file and make sure the path is relative to the server and not to the web

OK.... I think... So i just make sure that the connection in the sub is the same as in the rootweb in relation to the server?!
And how do i do this? Manually (notepad) or is there some kind of built in function?

By the way, how does FP function with MS SQL server?
