Hi Spooky:

A couple of questions about your creation.

1. Can I incorporate a table that is already being used into Spooky Login? For example, I have a table called promoters with a lot of information that is already linked into a few of my big databases. Can Spooky login add a "password" to this table already setup and have it be the table that spooky login reads from?

2. Different "levels" of people should have access to different pages. For example, on a classified page I am building, I would want anyone to be able to log in. Now that these classified users are regisitered, I DO NOT want them to have access to other pages. I would think this is possible, but could you confirm it.

Thanks again Spooky

It would probably be a major to map existing fields to the current database -obvioiusly depending what info you have there.

Youd need to modify the names used in one or the other, depending which is more difficult

2) Yes, you can keep them out of their individual areas.

Here is what I was getting at with my question.

I have a submission page in which a promoter enters a listing and I copy it over to the database. Right now, any knucklehead can enter anything and claim to be any promoter and I won't know the difference. I already have an extensive database table of my promoters. This is the reason I need a solid login. So I am sure that the promoter who is making the submission is not just a random knucklehead!

You could probably perform an update query on the DB (through Access) and add every record from 1 database to the other (Map the Name / name and Password / email and email / email) fields initially?

What sort of layout do you have in the existing DB ?
