Hi, I have the hexadecimal code for a boackground colour stored in a field, is there anyway to tell FP to make this the backgroung for the cell ?

Sure. You could use something like this. Just replace yourrecordset and yourfieldname with the actual names. bgcolor=<%=yourrecordset.fields.getvalue("yourfieldname")%> EE
