Format/Remove Formatting Command - 8/2/2002 8:48:59

I cut and paste all text from word documents into notepad before pasting into FrontPage Normal view. This has significantly improved the look of copy when a site is viewed in Netscape.

I recently discovered the Format/Remove Formatting command. It it just as effective as using WordPad? If so, it will save a few extra steps.

thanks, gail

sometimes...

Using WordPad or Notepad is still the best way to ensure that you don' t get any unwanted extras...

-gail - I found the remove formatting to be quite helpful when pasting excell scpreadsheet data into FP - it removed all the bloat of cell widths and heights, etc that excel sent over. I used to use the paste into Notepad routine then copy from there but now I simply copy from the source document, then paste special / normal paragraphs with line breaks and that works just fine.
