FProoke2 -> Access and Apache (3/6/2001 20:21:00)

OK...I thought I was on the right path with converting my information from DB4 to Access, then working on my site using FP2000 and Access. Then it seems that I read somewhere?? that Access will not run on Apache servers. Is this true? The number 1 selling point that my current web host is most proud of...A1, top of the line, kick butt, Apache servers...lol
Here are my choices now and since I do not have a lifetime to learn everything please set me on the right path.
A) Stick with Access and move to a new web host.(he's not FP friendly either)
B) Keep the current Perl, custom scripting thingy that I currently have running the DB on the site that may or may not work with FP after all the work is done.
C) Maybe look into SQL or some other program? I have SQL7 program but it looks too complicated for me.
D) Seek bids to have this mess done for me.

Your expert advice please.

Cindy

Im afraid you are correct, they dislike each other intensely

You may strike another problem in that your server doesnt support asp either.
a) Possible, most NT hosts should know how to allow FP
b) Work carefully, and they can co-exist
c) Same issue - scripting and server access could be a problem
d) Mostly, it needs to be done on your side first
