Navigation Bars - Controlling their width - 4/14/2001 19:40:00
A couple of questions

1.) Is there anyway to control the width of the navigation bars?

2.) Can Navigation Bars be inserted into a cell in a table?

Thanks.

Depends where the nar bars come from. If you are using a theme, I think you can. But it must be done manually within a graphics editing program. And you can put any content into a table or cell.

Thanks Gene.

I was formatting the Page Banner and then this was being loaded into the Navigation Bar. So after playing around with the Navigation Bar, Page Include and renaming <title> </title> I have begun to get some control over what is happening.

Yes on both accounts.
If you are looking for a Nav bar that is essetialy free, but requires a little understanding of javascript, I would recommend visiting www.brainjar.com They have some pretty neat (free) stuff that you can use in a web site to create menu bars of different sizes. Insert bar in a single cell of a table.
A much easier way, although it will cost you 24 bucks in a nice little program called applet builder 1.0. This adds a graphical interface to your developement enviroment allowing you to minipulate variables like size, color, font and the like. You can get a free trail version to test out. I have in fact used both with much success.
