Bravenet.com - any advice as to experiences? - 4/15/2001 17:23:00
Hi Folks,
I have a free high school alumni site hosted by www.rootsweb.com built through FP 98. Rootsweb does not support FP server extensions. I'm trying to protect the alumni from e-mail robots. www.bravenet.com was recently suggested as a site for password protection. Does anyone have any experience with this site?

Also, any other recommendations as to posting the alumni website? Its a personal site and I do not want to spend mega-bucks as to listing it.

Thanks,
John Cresseveur

Hi John
I have a high school alumni site too. I have the same concerns about email. But my site is new that I only have a couple of addresses on it and one of them is mine. I will probably pw protect it eventually. I think you can probably find a pretty cheap host that supports fp extensions if you want to go that route.

I use the bravenet guestbook on my alumni site and I have a client that has a bravenet counter. But that is my only experience with bravenet.
