I always feel bad when I see people wioth lots of views and no responses, so I had to take a look-see... and I am getting a 404 page missing error.

Slater,

The site worked well in IE 6, NN 6.2 and Opera 6. However, you struck out when viewed in NN 4.76.

The three columns of table cells headed by Registered Members, Active topics and Poll, became a vertical page with only one table cell width. First all of those on the left at full browser window width, followed by the Active Topics, you body text, and then all table cells at the right.

All pages need some form of navigation assistance. Whether text links or buttons. I have no problem, in that my trackball has a button that tells the browser to go back. Whoa!, I finally saw the twirling " Home" link. In Opera 6 and IE 6, it' s takes about one second to rotate. In NN 6.2 and NN 4.76, it spins so fast that it can' t be read. I suggest a change.

If you are serious about having people visit your sponsor' s sites, I suggest that you find an alternative to the animated images. On my cable access which I just tested at 1.871 MB per second, it took 37 seconds to load. Five images failed to load in all browers.

I' m partial to the blue color.

Hi Slater,

The home page took a bit to load, ( I am on a T1). I like the font size but the white font with the graidient background made my eyes hurt closer to the bottom of the page. Maybe a slightly darker gradient.

I had a bit of a problem figuring out how the process works if I am due lots of loot from somewhere, maybe a clearer reason on why I should register and what happens when I do. I simply don' t trust folks with info these days.

Good Job me thinks!

Barry

Slater,

My comments are basically the same as others (took a while to load-- on cable, white text is hard to read on lighter end of gradient) so I was going to post... but " Slater" is my last name so I had to say something. :)

I think I' d leave the text links/navigation that' s at the top of your home page at the top of each of the other pages, too. Have some consistency.

Like the general layout. :)

Kat
