Sounds like it' s from a horror flick but I understand it' s a pretty nifty html text editor. http://www.arachnoid.com/arachnophilia/index.html

Anyone ever use it? Is it any good?

thanks, gail

I used to use it Gail. It' s sorta like a super notepad if you will. Instead of typing in html tags you can click a button and the opening and closing tags are inserted with the cursor set between them for you to type text. Comes in useful when your coding tables as well, it gives you graphical options to choose from then renders them in html code. It obviously takes some getting used to with all of the different toolbars for different tags, which is why I stick with notepad. Although I still have the program on my system :)

I think I' m gonna have to give that a try... if for no other reason than his " Care-ware" policy [:p]

Before I used FP, that was my editor of choice. It' s not installed on my work computer, but I still use it on my home CPU.

IMO has a place in many a toolbox......

I have used it in the past to build stationery for Outlook Express. Takes a little getting used to, but is pretty powerful.

I find this program very interesting particularly as an educational tool since you can insert and immediately view (and therefore learn) html code as you' re working.

So before I get into it any further, can someone please assure me that the program itself does not add any extraneous code. Dealing with FrontPage in this area is enough already. [:' (]

thanks, gail
