Anyone Experienced in using WebTrends? - 8/28/2002 11:12:54
Does anyone have experience in using WebTrends? I' m taking over a system already set up and am having a bit of a problem figuring out how to make a new profile and actually create the reports. I searched Google hoping to find the " Outfront" version of a forum for WebTrends, but, alas, no such luck! Does anyone know of a resource for me... like tutorials, etc?

Thanks

Which version do you have? And are we talking about Log Analyzer or one of the other products?

The help files are fairly good.... And also check the user guide and other documentation. http://www.netiq.com/support/was/documentation.asp

Thanks, Rian, that helped. Actually we have two versions, 5,5 which seems to be used daily to create logs and 7.o on a different PC which is used to generate the reports. Looks like it' ll be pretty useful when I get used to it. Am glad to have the chance to learn it.

Once you get the hang of WebTrends you are going to love it! GREAT reporting tool!

Also look at the available (free) server " Plug-ins" that enhances the reporting.
