Simple Database query - 3/23/2001 14:54:00
I have a database of products and want to be able to display a few samples on a page to give visitors and idea of our pricing structure. I can't seem to figure out how to set the parameters to display only those items I've selected as sample products. Basically, I don't want an entire catagory or an entire price range etc. to show up but only abouut 10 or so that I can select myself. I don't know if there is a way to add each item # into the query so only those show. I basically rely on FP2000 to do all the results for me so I was trying to get my results using the drw but hitting dead end. I don't know asp to say the least! Can the drw do this and how? Any help would be appreciated.Dave

Spooky-Thank you so much for your rapid response. It seems each time I choose to add one item in the value field I'm fine but when I try to add multiple items is where I get the "No Records Returned" script. I go to step three and choose criteria, then I add "ProdID" and insert the item # in the value field. Then I go and add another "ProdID" field and choose another item# in the value field and that's where I get the empty results. Any idea where I'm going wrong? Thanks again.

Ahh, so you are after just certain products, not fields. Perhaps add 5 or 6 criteria at step 3 for productID - ProductID = 1 or ProductID = 4 ....etc------------------ Spooky "I am Spooky of Borg.
