trademark Code/symbol - 9/7/2002 8:41:31
Hi,

What is the code in HTML for the trade mark symbol. I have looked in a few places & I can find many symbols but not this one?:)

I need to put in many places including navigation.

Thanks
Erin

What is it doing on the hover button?

Are you using FP hover buttons, or JS rollovers?

TM on a hover button??? Good question bobby.

erinatkins,

In the future, directly in a page: Insert > Symbols > TM

Bobby & Long Island Lune,

I am talking about the horrible hover buttons in Frontpage. One of there services is trademarked & the would like to have the TM there if possible.

I know about insert symbol but it will not work on the hover buttons - I tried.

Code worked fine in Navigation.

I tried to get him to agree to other buttons but it did not work.:)

erinatkins,

I think bobby might have touched base with a solution. It can' t be done in FP. The HOVER component doesn' t offer that much customization. But you can probably do it in JS. JS offers much more control over these things.

Try looking here:

Plenty of free scripts, FAQ' s, info and help.

If I were you, I' d go with JS rollovers and just create some basic images that look like the FP hover buttons... he' ll never know and your headache will be solved... and the client gets a better product in the end...

(If all browsers fully supported CSS2 this would be a snap! [:j])

Might be a reason that you don' t but I will risk sounding stupid. If all you want is the TM logo why not use a small superscript font?
Just a thought.

Thanks for all the help guys. I will check out the scripts.

Porterhouse I am not sure if you can add a small superscript font to the hover button.

Thanks again,
Erin
