Updating 2 Fields, Help Spooky! - 3/29/2001 20:25:00
I am trying to update 2 fields on a record by passing the "ID", "status", and "techrepid" through a form. On the DRW here is the custom query SQL I am using.UPDATE DISTINCTROW Results SET status='::status::', techrepid='::techrepid::' WHERE ID=::ID:: This is the error I get: Database Results Error Description: [Microsoft][ODBC Microsoft Access Driver] Too few parameters. Expected 1. Number: -2147217904 (0x80040E10) Source: Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers It works fine with updating only one field but I would like to update two or more fields. What do you think?

Are both inputs valid? and in your database (in design view) are all text fields marked as "Allow zero length" ?------------------ Spooky "I am Spooky of Borg. Prepare to be assimilated, babycakes!" Subscribe to OutFront News Database / DRW Q & A The Spooky Login!

Open your access database, open the table and go to design view. Each input has properties Clicking on the line will reveal what they are for each column. All text fields should be "Allow zero length" = yes ------------------ Spooky "I am Spooky of Borg. Prepare to be assimilated, babycakes!"
