Hyperlinks from DB with real text - 4/1/2001 20:29:00
I have an access db which has a field containing hyperlinks to web sites.I have placed the text inside the field thus: "#Site Name#Site URL# In reports, etc within Access it shows the link with the Site Name displayed not the physical link. But in FP, although I can include the URL as a clickable hyperlink (thanks Spooky) I cannot get it to show the Description rather than the URL. Is this possible, and if so, how do I do it? Thanks

I hope you are not using the hyperlink field?!Dont, its not compatible via the web. Its best to have 2 text fields, one for the description, 1 for the link. Specify the 2nd field as the hyperlink for the feild 1 text ------------------ Spooky "I am Spooky of Borg. Prepare to be assimilated, babycakes!" Yes, I am using the hyperlink field, but I can go back and change it...Thanks for the advice - but would you mind explaining how I "Specify the 2nd field as the hyperlink for the field 1 text"? Do I do this in Access or FP? Exactly how? Thanks, in advance... [This message has been edited by Olds442 (edited 04-02-2001).]
