Update db from form error message - 4/2/2001 22:06:00
Hello all-

Am trying to update previously populated "Price" field using a form.

Receiving the error "Too few parameters. Expected 1. Number: -2147217904 (0x80040E10)" when using the following custom query:

UPDATE DISTINCTROW
Listings
SET Price='::Price::'
WHERE MLS=::MLS::

All fields are spelled correctly. Price is a currency field in the db. Maybe that is causing problems? I've troubleshot it all I know how...
Thanks!

Do you maybe want to take the quotes away from ::Price:: as it is a numeric field. For instance . . .
UPDATE DISTINCTROW
Listings
SET Price=::Price::
WHERE MLS=::MLS::

What is the type of the MLS field ?

Vince-
I left my password at home, so I'm Arn today.
I deleted the ' on price, and added ' to MLS (text) and it worked. It was a formatting rejection by the Access db, for sure.
My next to-do list will include learning basic Access formatting! Thanks much...
