Sorry, this comes from a very non experienced user of databases. What I would like to do is make a website full of guitar tabs that I have created or have had submitted and make them available to the general public. I would like to make a database that people can open like a regular webpage and they can browse the songs. Starting by choosing a letter, then a group, then a song.

For an example of what I am talking about, Look at one of these websites.
http://www.christianguitarnetwork.com/Music/index.php
http://www.1christian.net/guitar/default.asp?tab
http://www.christianguitar.ws/christian

That is the kind of website I would like to put into place as an extra section that I already have in place at http://www.solidrockjesus.com Of course I don't want it to look exactly like theirs, I want to have my own look and feel, which I can do, as well as my own songs. However, I have no idea how to put that together.

Sorry I am a database newcomer, but I catch on really fast, so if someone could help, or at least point me in the right direction, it would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Bobby,
this is definitely the right place to be to get your databases sorted out. I would start by reading through the tutorials that Spooky has written up in
http://www.outfront.net/Spooky
then come and post questions as and when you need a bit of help.

All the best

Vince
