Can I send Database results to a different DB? - 4/4/2001 20:55:00
I have a site that finds jobs for nurses. Once they login(spooky login) it takes them to their page for their schedule. If they would like to fill another shift, I have a link that takes them open shifts:
http://www.thenursenetwork.com/reports/open_shifts.asp
This page pulls from a AccessDB. Currently now on the page I have them fill out the form below the shifts listed and then that post to another database.
Question: Is there a way for them to just select their username and then maybe a button next to the results "Fill Postion" and once clicked it could send this to a database? Would like to avoid having them fill out the current form under open shift but would need to know who wants to fill the position.
Thanks so much. Great Forum!
Spooky

Theres always a way (well mostly....)

Maybe fill a dropdown list with names from a database (distinct) and submit that as a criteria to the next query, populating the form based on that username?
