Site eval - 9/19/2002 12:15:53
Please have a look. This is a new site combining different services our company is involved in.

I' m told by ' experts' that you should concentrate on just one or two areas, but our business in involved in several areas. Should the site be broken up into:

1.) Programming issues on one site.

2.) Hosting on another.

Or maybe even more?

TIA

Stan

Hi Stan,

I would say concentrate on one business per location. This doesn' t mean as a designer you can' t offer ancillary hosting packages with site development on a separate site.

The site itself artistically speaking doesn' t lend itself as a hosting provider. There' s little information other than price on the index regarding account levels and what is included. The use of a FrontPage theme is also a hindrance in my opinion, I would expect original design. The index itself is too busy and includes way too much unrelated advertisements, buttons, etc. I was also annoyed by a pop-up that refused to close.

If your sincerely interested in creating a hosting company, reseller or not I would strongly recommend purchasing a ready made template specifically tailored for hosting. Check out " Related Offers and Requests" forum at http://webhostingtalk.com
