Multiple SQLs in .idc file? - 4/8/2001 20:37:00
This looks like a great resource - hello!I've just returned to programming, and am working in NT4/Access97/FrontPage2000. I've just discovered .idc and .htx files, and am trying to get more out of them than is described in the sparse documentation that I've located. I have a parameterised hyperlink in an htm file which calls an idc file, which passes the results of its SQL query to an htx file. Because of the complexity of the database I've been given and the user requirements for the Intranet page, I would really like to be able to run two SQL queries in the idc file. Can this be done? Thanks.

First answer. Dont use idc and htx Its old and now unsupported. Pure asp is the current thinking (well....unless you are on a Unix =)------------------ Spooky "I am Spooky of Borg. Prepare to be assimilated, babycakes!" Subscribe to OutFront News Database / DRW Q & A The Spooky Login!

Oh dear - thanks. At least that explains why I couldn't find any documentation. I'll see if I can rework things in asp pages, I suppose. BTW, the first hyperlink in your signature gives a 'list deleted' error.
