If you are a FrontPage user, uploading via ftp can have the effect of corrupting your server extensions. It' s a minor annoyance if your host is good about reinstalling them, but it' s still an annoyance. Once you have uploaded to your host via ftp the first time and have all the permissions set correctly, you can then upload any modifications to the board using FrontPage' s publish feature. Here' s the procedure: [list] Open your website LIVE and publish from your host to your local drive. Close FrontPage. Modify your YaBB forum using the BoardMod program. Open your website live again. Go to the YaBB folder in your cgi bin folder and import all the files in that folder.
