No email conformation to post replies - 9/22/2002 17:28:45
Why am I not getting an email saying there is a reply to a subscribed post?
I click the little box, requesting an email and I have not gotten one in a long time. I did change my email address, because we now have satellite internet service, but I have rechecked my email address several times and have still not gotten a notice that someone has replied to my posts. Any Ideas?

Hmmmmmm... If I were you, I would double-check the new address one more time.
You went to " MY Info" on this site and selected " Edit Profile" , then you changed your email address and then clicked on " Apply" , then " OK" at the bottom and it still doesn' t work???
If I were you I would use the " Contact" link and send your question to Spooky directly or maybe Thomas Brunt.

I checked the email address and it seems to be correct.
No I do not have a spam blocker.
When I clicked on the little forward letter icon, I entered my email address and the box was also checked to send it to myself. I DID receive ONE email of this post.
More Suggestions?

Yes, this works. I sent it to my husband with the the boxed checked to send to myself and I got the emailed post.
I am still not getting emails for my subscribed posts however.

Still not receiving Email for subscribed posts.
I changed my OutFront newsletter subscription email address. Someone please post here so I can check to see if I get an email for this post.

Thanks for checking into this. Just to let you know, I did not get an email from your above posts. Also, I keep getting logged on as guest, even though I have the cookies box marked. I will keep checking back here.

I changed my email address back to my old one (temporarily). I don' t remember doing all the checking passwords back and forth before. Maybe I changed it last time when the server was down or something.
Anyway, someone please post here so I can check this email conformation again, Thank you so much.

Hey Spooky (and others),
I am still struggling with not receiving conformation email from OutFront posts.
Via the " Edit Profile" page, I changed my email address to my old one, and I got conformation emails - no problem, but when I changed back to the email address in question (my new and current one), I receive no Email conformations.
I did, however, when setting up the new email address with OutFront, receive that email with the password, verifying the email address etc.. I went back again and tested per your suggestion to:

When I did this test again, I clicked on the box for a copy to be sent to myself. When I checked my email box, I received ONE message from the post. Meaning I did not get the one to myself from checking the box.
