THE COUNTER.com Web Stats - 9/25/2002 18:12:24
I use a counter code on my index. page to keep track of traffic. I use the one from " The counter.com" :::anyone else use this? I have a question about where at the top of my page I should put it. I currently have the code near the bottom::I just read this is not advisable. Wondering if i should have it before the closing /head tag or ?? thanks if anyone knows.

Hi, When I was utilizing third party counters I would always put it right below the last closing <\table> tag. That way when their server is getting hammered during peek usage it would not slow down the page load. Brian
