Easy?! Excedrin headache #658. Software is rather intuitive, eh? Not! Well, I actually followed Katherine' s instructions and was able to download a file to my hard drive. But what' s all the other stuff that appears in the window when I look at the folder where it' s stored? Are they hidden files? [-a-], etc. Or are they symbols of the drives on my computer and if so, why are they in there? And is it necessary for me to learn to use all the other buttons, cryptic words, etc. to use the program correctly? quote:
ORIGINAL: toolman I must say though that I use the frontpage publish facility and not FTP for my own website. I' d still like to understand why I' ve been advised to use ftp software instead of republishing with FrontPage. Doesn' t make sense, at least not at this point. thanks, gail [image]http://www.frontpagewebmaster.com/upfiles/1556/Vt58376.gif[/image]
