Are required fields for forms possible in FP2K? - 10/1/2002 20:18:57
I would like to add some fields in my form that are required to be filled in by a user before the form can be submitted.

Would this be done by clicking on the form field I would like to have as " required" and hit " validate" then hit " required" and select the minimum and maximum number of characters allowed in that field ?

Would I then put a " *" before the secified fields to notify users of a required piece of information along with a note of " (*)required field " or something to that effect ?

Thanks

yanagapa,

This is the way it works in FP2K.

Right click on the form field that you wish to have validation, choose Form Field Validation..., and complete appropriate items in the dialog box that opens.
