Problems with DB' s and uploads; Server Extensions? - 10/2/2002 12:39:53
Hi,
I am trying to get my site to accept uploads as well as form results and e-mail results. I have had other people on this board try my form and DB on their site with no problems. But when I try it from my Windows II server, get nothing in the DB, an error message saying that my server/extensions are not configured for e-mail, and an upload error message saying extensions are not installed on the server. I had FP ext 2002 ver. 4 on my server and just today updated to the ver.5.0 and installed the security patch. Everything said it was installed correctly, and still the same errors keep popping up. I am basically copying my disk based web from a workstation to a folder designated for my web by my " administrator" . I have not been able to copy over the existing files so I have to delete them all in order to copy my updates to the file. Am I screwing something up in the progress, do I need to install the extensions on my workstation, is their something that I need to do to the server extensions once they are installed? I would greatly appreciate any information you guys can share.
Workstation: Windows 2000~Frontpage 2002~no FP extensions
Server: Windows 2000 Server~Frontpage 2002 extensions 5.0 (sec. patch)
