picture popup - 10/11/2002 0:45:22
Hi,
I' m trying to do a thumbnail with a pop up image everytime someone click the thumbnail.
My question is that how do I make the images pop up in the same window with out a new pop up window popping up?

I know I have seen this effect on a JavaScript site. Try searching through a few of them like Dynamic Drive and I think you' ll find it.

Try http://javascript.internet.com/ and do a search on " image"
Really handy site for cut and paste scripts.

That was the idea, but I want it so that when the viewer click on any thumb pics it will popup in the same page not multiple pages...

Gotcha. The only thing that comes to mind right now is frames, though I know it can be done with javascript and CSS.
Wait. Do you mean something like this. Just click on the links and watch the middle change

That might work too. But when it load pictures. I want it to load ASAP especially for 56K users (not that most of us are on it), I just want to make sure when the click on the gallery and view the pictures it will load fast for them. But I can try it to see if it will work. Is there a code for that? or just manual pages?
