This is a really nice look and is easy to navigate and get around but my goodness the text is small! I am lucky and have very good sight but still at a resolution of 1024x768 it is difficult to read much of it easily. The fact that most of the text is contined in gifs makes it even harder, it gives me the sensation that I am unable to focus!

At any higher resolution it is unreadable.

One thing to bear in mind is that when you use images like this for your text you are giving search engines little or nothing to work with when indexing your site. At the moment the current news is the only text on the page and it has no important keywords in it. I don' t know how important search engines are to you but if they are important perhaps you might consider sacrificing some of the look to have the main paragraph in standard text. You will also need to use your alt text very carefully to get some text in.

It is a lovely site though, and gorgeous furniture.

Hi

I' d have to agree with Katherine, very smart, crisp site just let down by the text size and legibility problems. For example the main text on your home page needn' t be a graphic and as Katherine says would paobably help out in SE' s if it was pure text. Equally as your top links don' t rollover or anything, you might as well use text there too.

The other thing I' d do is make your product links in the lists a bit more obvious - they do look like a list rather than links, either add an underline or change their colour from black.

Cheers
Andy

I like the design. Very nice and clean. I would like to add the following.

1. On the home page you have ' We redesign our...' when it should read ' We redesigned our...'

2. Unless everyone who visits your site will know what the codes and simple descriptions mean on your product pages I would add thumbnail images. Though I know what a folding chair looks like, the next person may not.

I also agree with the increasing of the font size and having it either change color or add a rollover effect to it.

Adwis,

Your site is nice. However, I didn' t even try to read the text.

IE 6 and NN 7 didn' t have much trouble rendering the site.

But things started to fall apart in Opera 6, and even worse in NN 4.76

This image is from Opera 6.

:)
